July 2011 I elected to have surgery, so more tests

Surgery was scheduled for August 4.

So I had this radioactive seed test thingy done.  They put these radioactive seeds in the breast tissue, close to the arm pit.  My lump was on the left side below the nipple.  Then I had to sit for about an hour to let the radiation start moving into the lymph system.  Then I sat under a scope and they took x-rays.  They were looking for the "sentinel nodes" in that part of the lymph system.  During surgery to remove the lump, my gal surgeon was also going to remove two sentinel nodes and have them biopsied to see if the cancer had moved into the lymph system.  Really interesting test, not too painful.  And... don't need to ever do that again.
